2020 Mazda3

It's no secret that the new 2020 Mazda3 has been completely redesigned. With its sportier style, abundance of new technologies, and improved handling, the new 2020 Mazda3 has a lot to offer its next owner.

There’s a lot to talk about when it comes to the new-generation Mazda3, but we’ll be focusing on the optional i-ACTIV all-wheel drive that’s now available. This system is sophisticated and particularly interesting, as it allows the Mazda3 to offer what very few cars in its segment can: the stability of a four-wheel-drive system.

Advanced AWD for the 2020 Mazda3

The 2020 Mazda3 and its i-ACTIV system are exclusive in the segment. It’s a unique system that sends engine power to the front wheels in a normal situation. The i-ACTIV system is capable of reading and analyzing the driver's gestures, such as accelerations and the angle of the steering wheel. i-ACTIV also knows if the wheels lose its grip. If traction has been compromised, i-ACTIV will transfer the power from the engine to the appropriate wheels to ensure optimal handling.

Mazda offers its i-ACTIV all-wheel-drive system in the Mazda3 sedan and the Mazda3 Sport hatchback. The sedan is available from $26,000 while the Sport model is available from $27,000. In the sedan version, a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine developing 155 horsepower is standard while in the hatchback model owners will enjoy a more powerful 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine developing 186 horsepower. This engine is also available in the sedan version.

No matter which model you buy, the 2020 Mazda3 AWD i-ACTIV is designed to keep you on the road and deliver superb performance. Visit us today to learn more!
