2017 Mazda6: KODO Turned up a Few Notches

For 2017, Mazda’s taken the 6 to a whole new level of innovation and design with updates to the interior, as well as a few safety features. The 2017 Mazda6 is Still as Noticeable as Ever

The 2017 Mazda6 also offers up the Japanese automaker’s latest HMI system with a 7” colour touchscreen display. The easy-to-use system is controlled via the main control knob that can be found just below the shifter. There is available satellite radio, along with HD radio. Two USB ports will ensure you (and your passengers) are tuned in to the music and entertainment you want and need for the entire journey. And the available 11-speaker premium Bose audio system is sure to keep the party going, too.

Mazda’s versatile SKYACTIV-G 2.5L 4-cylinder engine that produces 184 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque is featured in the 2017 Mazda6, along with three transmission choices (6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic and a 6-speed automatic with i-ELOOP energy regen capabilities.

Safety on a Whole Level

There are also a host of safety features on the 2017 Mazda6 such as blind-spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, forward obstruction warning, and a high beam control system. Mazda’s latest safety feature, Smart City Brake Support (prevents a front collision by gently applying the brakes for you should you approach a stopped vehicle unknowingly) is also available.
